AMS, Inc. today announced the release of a new updated FREE Mobile Payment POS app for Android™ smartphones.
The application is available as a free download from the Android Market website. The application works on Android Smartphones and Android tablets such as the Samsung® Galaxy
One of the many unique features of the new Android app is the ability to accept multiple tender types. In addition to credit card payments, the Android mobile payment app empowers cash transactions, check transactions and ACH payments. Merchants can increase their cash flow and their customer satisfaction by accepting every available payment type from a mobile phone.
The Android POS app enables mobile 
merchants to qualify for the lowest possible swiped rates on card transactions by adding an optional Bluetooth® card reader/receipt printer. The small, battery-operated, peripheral device generates a printed receipt at the point-of-sale. Receipts can also be emailed to customers. Merchants can further boost their operational efficiency by combining their mobile payment transactions with other select solutions for integration to back-end accounting applications, such as QuickBooks®.
