Roughly the size of a check book, it will fit virtually anywhere. The ATM style graphical customer interface and integrated thermal “drop in paper” printer make this terminal extremely easy to learn and use.
The Verifone Omni 3750 sports an impressive array of features. Among the more important ones: Clam-shell paper loading is effortless. The large and clear backlit display makes for fewer clerical errors and mis-keys. The triple-track card reader supports all magnetic-striped cards, including new drivers’ licenses. The integrated thermal printer is extremely quiet and dependable. And the unit has two phone jacks, which eliminates the need for a second line. The 3750 is also available in a dual-comm mode that supports DSL connectivity, but we prefer the dial-up mode because, as anyone who owns a computer knows, internet connectivity can be spotty at times.
